Sophia and John Holzwarth were German immigrants who arrived in America toward the end of the 19th century. Homesteading appealed to the Holzwarths and offered the opportunity for a livelihood and a healthy lifestyle. They successfully operated the Holzwarth Trout Lodge and nearby Neversummer Ranch for more than a half century. Today, this historic site stands as a tribute to the Holzwarths and their fellow homesteaders who settled in the wilds of the Mountain West. Softcover, 8 pages
